TAMPA

The Nohab in the aftermath of the 1926 Miami hurricane and the dive site today.

Originally called the Lensahn, the luxury yacht was built in Germany in 1901 and renamed Nohab after the war. In September 1926 she foundered during the Great Miami Hurricane which devastated the state of Florida. Proving too expensive to refurbish, she was abandoned and sunk as a dive wreck, and now rests off Tampa Bay, in 65 feet of water.

We invite you to visit our founder’s informal board room located on the third deck of this infamous dive site currently identified as the south jack wreck.
